What is food grade or food grade lubricant?

Food Grade Lubricant is a special lubricant for machine in food manufacturing industry because if common lubricant using may be contaminated during the manufacturing and there is chemistry change that causes to produce Dioxin including Furans which has all composition to be similar to Dioxin on property, danger and source. They are chemicals which is stable on soil, undegradable on heat, insoluble on water, but good soluble in fat, so they are collected within tissue of organism.

How many type of food grade lubricant?

As for type of Food grade Lubricant, United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) started to specify and certify three types of food grade lubricant are as follow : H1: Food grade lubricant which is used for food manufacturing that the lubricant is touchable with the food (but little quantity). H2: A lubricant which is not food grade that is used equipment or machine which is absolutely untouchable with the food. 3H: An eatable food grade lubricant which is used for protect rust of tacks, wheelbarrows or other equipment which is similar them. Afterwards, duty of food grade lubricant control is transferred to NSF International who is international organization on environmental public health, security and protection. For this way, NSF has registration of lubricant and universally announces people to know is H1 and 3H that checks list of food grade lubricants which are confirmed from NSF at www.nsf.org.
